Save your Pasta Liquid
When you put hot water in with your pasta, you may be able to reuse it at a later date. Instead of dumping it down the drain, try and drain it into one large pot. When you have done this, you can then let it cool and use it to water your plants. This may not be a good idea if you salt your pasta, but if you dump boiling water on your plants then this will kill them so make sure that you give it chance to fully cool down before you take any steps toward using it.
Go to the Car Wash
If you feel obligated to wash your car then it is so important that you take it to the car wash. Some car washes tend to recycle the car water rather than you having to wash it at home with the hose.
